1am on a Sunday morning I woke up and realized my AC was not working. In this Texas heat and having a 1 year old I knew I needed someone out quick. I made multiple calls to large companies claiming to be "24/7". The earliest someone could come out was Wednesday! I called Celsius and a technician was at my house within 15 minutes! You have restored our faith in contractors. LOL. :-) We asked Dean to come out and help us identify a problem with our HVAC system; specifically, there is very little cold air coming through the vent system into one of our spare bedrooms. We hadn't noticed it until this last weekend, after our daughter moved back to Houston from attending school in SC. We actually live in a newer home (Sept 2018), but have had several issues with our builder. So, instead of going back to them with another issue without specifics, my husband and I agreed that we might get better/faster results from them is we had the situation assessed by a professional so we could speak from a more-knowledgeable position. When Dean walked in, he asked why, if this is a new home, are we not under warranty? Why are we not asking the builder to address this issue? So, I explained our situation, quickly mentioning some other problems that took months to address, some that were never addressed (that we ended up paying to correct out of our pockets). We wanted to hire him as a consultant to provide us information we could use to then go back to our builder with specifics. And Dean went to work...he spent at least 45 minutes mapping out the vent system in our attic (the temp at that time of day was approximately 95F, I can't imagine how hot it was in the attic), checking the vents into each room, checking the exterior system, etc. Finally, he went out to his truck...I assumed he was preparing a brief report and our invoice. I was only half right. He DID provide a very detailed report. He WOULD NOT accept payment! All he asked was that when the time came to make the appropriate corrections, that we hire a company with whom he was familiar and had worked with for years. Dean was INCREDIBLY professional, thorough, honest... This is our 6th house. We have lived in 5 states in several different regions of the country. Our interaction with Dean is, without a doubt, the best we have EVER had with ANY contractor. I will NEVER recommend any other HVAC service company.
